Client Testimonials

Every project starts with trust. Here's what our clients shared after we finished their homes.

“We spoke to several companies about renovating our apartment and it was immediately clear that Luc understood our style and requirements better than anyone else.

His proposal reflected that. Throughout the project Luc kept up the communications, made good suggestions, and worked well with our strata and neighbours, all while keeping the project on schedule and on budget.

He was professional and honourable throughout. The standards of Lumia Group and all of their sub-contractors and vendors was excellent.”

“Luc is fantastic! He has always been friendly, on time, and helpful. Luc and his team got the job done well quickly and cleanly – and didn’t mind when we asked him to tackle a few smaller items around the house not originally on the scope. I would absolutely recommend using the the Lumia Group!”

“Lumia Group is fantastic.

The work in my condo is absolutely phenomenal. Always there to help with any questions or needs I had during and after the project. Super professional and efficient saving huge time and money.

I would recommend Lumia and have to anyone I know and we are using them again for another home.”

“I am so happy with my apartment renovation!

Luc was very patient and helpful in the design phase and extremely considerate in co-ordinating the work to be done super fast for me. I hadn’t realized that was even possible!

The work itself was great and now I am enjoying what feels like a brand new apartment.”

“Luc and his team upgraded the electrical in our condo prior to us moving in.

They were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.

We will definitely use Lumia again in the future, and would highly recommend their services!”

“We used Lumia to replace the flooring and repaint the hallways in our apartment building. Luc took care of everything and his communication and regular updates exceeded all expectations.

Any minor issues with contractors were dealt with immediately. All residents were regularly kept up to date with posted notices. Luc was even able to coordinate his contractors to work around our fire alarm testing and any move-ins we had in the building. With how smooth things went at such a great price, we are now looking for more projects to do around the building!

I would highly recommend this company for any projects. Big or small.”

“Lumia Group Contracting was a dream partner for our home renovation. A total reno of a townhome built in 1989, Lumia led us through the experience feeling supported, offering the best options for finishes within budget, and ensured the execution was mind-blowingly gorgeous.

The team is friendly, professional, and dedicated. If you are choosing between contractors, you can stop your search. Lumia is the best of Vancouver. Shout outs to Luc and Taylor for a job well done!”

“Of the five renovations we’ve done, Luc has been the best. Unlike other contractors looking to get you to commit by quoting an unrealistic price, Luc was honest about the going trade rates.

We ended up slightly under budget despite some real challenges.”

“I recently had four bathrooms renovated by Lumia Group and was thoroughly impressed with the results.

The entire process was smooth from start to finish, with clear communication of my expectations to Luc, who exceeded them.

The project was completed on time and within budget, with no damage to my home. The tradespeople arrived as scheduled, and project manager Taylor was proactive in addressing any issues while being respectful of our space. Most importantly, the work was executed with top-quality finishes.

Luc and Taylor exemplify exceptional organization and professionalism as contractors, consistently demonstrating clear communication and a proactive approach to addressing any concerns that arise during projects. Their meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the work is handled with care.

I would highly recommend Lumia for any construction project you are considering and without a doubt Lumia would be my contractor of choice for my next project.”

“Lumia group were fantastic. They were responsive, fast, professional, and did an amazing job installing new flooring, as well as other touch ups around our place.

Bonus: The workers who came to our place all loved dogs, and were very kind to our fur kids when they excitedly greeted them at the door. A++”

“Lumia Contracting was the contractor for a recent project of mine, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the very first phone call, they were a pleasure to collaborate with. They took the time to thoroughly understand the project and came to the design review meeting well-prepared, having already reviewed the design package and compiled a thoughtful list of questions.

During the construction phase, their communication was outstanding. They kept me in the loop every step of the way, informing me ahead of time about upcoming milestones so I could plan my site visits accordingly. The quality of craftsmanship was top-notch, and the final result exceeded expectations. My clients were thrilled with the entire process, and they even praised how respectful the crew was while working in their home.

I highly recommend Lumia Contracting for any project — their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence made all the difference.”

“I couldn’t be happier with my restoration and renovation on my Oak engineered hardwood floor and paint remodel by Lumia Contractors. [They], were a pleasure to work with starting with the initial consultation through the final reveal.
They listened carefully to my needs and preferences and provided expert guidance and preferences throughout the process…the project manager kept me informed every phase and provided updates on the schedule on their Buildertrend App. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly impressive. I would highly recommend Lumia Group for your projects.”

“Luc and his staff were absolutely fantastic during our complete renovation. First, he worked exceptionally well with our interior decorator and this helped us proceed quickly through the planning phase. Secondly, Luc was so detailed with his recommendations for demolition and stripping down of our old apartment. He made excellent choices for us on what to keep and where our resources would bring us the most value and improvement to our home.

We so appreciated his cleanliness and attention to detail during the entire renovation process. He took care of the inspections for us and he maintained the schedule that he set out for our project. We totally were impressed by the quality of his work and the way in which he made our Condo feel so much more like a home. I would recommend Luc and Lumia Group to anyone who needs someone that you can trust will do what he says he will do and, more importantly, do it right! ”
