Blueridge – 1100 Sqft Addition
Custom 1,100 Sqft Garage + Living Suite Addition | North Vancouver, BC
This isn’t just a garage — it’s a 1,100 sqft dream addition, custom-built from the ground up to be the ultimate man cave with a full living space above. Designed by our client and brought to life entirely in-house, the structure blends modern craftsmanship with the timeless charm of the original 1970s post-and-beam home.
Scope of Work:
Lumia Group Contracting managed the full design-build process, from excavation and foundation through to finishes, electrical, and custom detailing. The main level features an expansive garage with polished concrete floors and high ceilings for vehicle storage. Above, a self-contained suite offers a cozy retreat for family, guests, or movie nights—complete with large skylights, a sun-deck and abundant natural light.
Functional Design Features:
This project was engineered to feel like a true extension of the home rather than an addition. The exterior finishes were carefully selected to complement the existing architecture while modernizing its overall appeal. Structural steel beams, energy-efficient insulation, and upgraded glazing ensure lasting performance and comfort year-round.
